The Chaplain Emergency Response Team in East Texas is here to serve our local emergency workers. We listen, encourage, and provide resources to police officers, firemen, nurses, and news crews.
Many first responders have seen and experienced traumatic events in the line of duty. Our team is here to offer support. We build relationships with local first response teams by visiting fire stations, police stations, hospitals, and jails to let emergency workers know we are here when they need us.
We have chaplains in Smith County, Greg County, Rusk County, and Cherokee County available 24/7 to speak with you. All of our chaplains are first responders themselves and ICPC certified chaplains. We’ve been in your shoes and are here to offer a listening ear when you need to talk to someone.
The Chaplain Emergency Response Team in East Texas hosts community events to raise awareness of the importance of supporting our local first responders. Additionally, we hold group events exclusively for emergency workers. These events give you an opportunity to hear from others who have experienced crises on the job. You’ll hear the powerful stories, painful struggles, and hopeful journeys of people just like you who have found a way to move forward after a traumatic experience. Please view our calendar to see our upcoming events.
